Cllr Tom Hitchings
Chairman
Rights of Way

I was born and brought up in Broad Chalke, and after almost 20 years away pursuing my early career, I moved back 'home' with my family in 1991. We have a very special community. I ran the Village Flower Show & Fete from 1994 - 2007. I was elected to Parish Council 25 years ago, and have been Chair since 2004.

Chris Rothwell
Clerk to the Parish Council

I took on the Clerk role in 2019 having recently ‘retired’ from a career in local Government. I wanted to put something back into the community, using my professional experience to help shape the next chapter of the village. My role is guiding and assisting parish councillors in their work as elected representatives in this vital tier of local democracy. We are a small Parish, but I never cease to be amazed at the variety of issues that the parish council have to get involved in.

Cllr Emma Richter
Carbon Neutral

My husband, Dan, and I moved to Broad Chalke in 2013 with our 4 young children. We have loved the opportunity to raise them in the wonderful Chalke Valley! I am a teacher and have worked at various schools in the area. We all appreciate the opportunities being a part of our vibrant community offers, and I hope to be able to give something back by serving on the Parish Council.
