May 2025 UPDATE
The next Parish Council meeting is on Wednesday 14 May 2025 at 8.00pm at Broad Chalke Village Hall. The Council meets on the second Wednesday of the month.
Young Peoples Event 1 June 12.00-4.00pm
For ages 12-18 years living in Broad Chalke, Bishopstone, Fovant.
A mobile climbing wall will be at the Chalke Valley Sports Centre Book a place through Eventbrite using the QR code in the flyer at the bottom of this page.
VE Day- 80th Anniversary. May 8th. There will be remembrance gathering around the War Memorial at 11.00am and an evening Beacon lighting and informal picnic at Hut and Lodge Farm House from 7.30pm.
VILLAGE VOLUNTEER GROUP
Are you interested in helping to look after our village, its community facilities and the landscape in which we are so fortunate to live by investing a few hours each year volunteering.
Our next project will be in March 15 to tidy undertake on and around the Village Hall. If you would be interested in being involved in future activities please contact the Clerk.
PARISH PRECEPT
2025/2026: The Council have discussed and agreed the Precept for 2025/26. See the December Council Minutes.
FRIENDS OF BROAD CHALKE PLAYGROUND
Mrs Victoria Pickford and Cllr Martin Altham have set this Group up. Find out more on the Facebook page or via www.friendsofbroadchalkeplayground.co.uk
and on the news of grant funding from the National Lottery and other funders.
The Playground opened in July 2024.

These are available to charitable and community organisations in Broad Chalke. Please contact the Clerk.
NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
Following the change in Government and information awaited on changes to the planning system, Wiltshire Local Plan and housing targets, the Council has made the decision to pause any further work until there is a clear direction on Neighbourhood Plans.
